I had a failing HDD (which I still have, but I'm scraping by with it) which would try to boot, and would black screen. I had the same exact problem not too long ago. Remove the CMOS battery and wait for 10 mins then put it back and turn on the PC. Starting to think CPU because the power usage is low and I can't hear it. I completely swapped to a brand new motherboard and get all the same symptoms No difference between the two motherboards.Ħ. I tried moving ram around and trying each stick individually but there were no beeps.ĥ. I tried removing Ram, received the "no Ram" beeps (three short beeps I beleive). I tried unplugging Fans, LEDS, HDD SSD, disk drive, etc. I've read through and followed this thread with no success.Ģ. Motherboard - 1) ASRock M3A770DE ATX AM3 Motherboardġ. No hardware or software installs were performed immediately prior.ĬPU - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor It worked fine, I booted it down and it stopped working. ![]() ![]() Prior to that the last physical modification was a new PSU and SSD install 3 months prior. When I boot up, LED and fans work but there is no beep or video.Īfter the issue surfaced, I performed all troubleshooting I could find here, even purchased a new motherboard and tried again. My computer stopped working with seemingly no modification. ![]()
